The Association for Oral Health Therapists (AOHT) Singapore was established in 2014 with a singular vision: to unify and advocate for the Oral Health Therapist profession in Singapore. As the premier professional body for oral health therapists, we are dedicated to supporting our members through education, advocacy, and professional development.

Our Mission: To be the one voice representing the Oral Health Therapists profession in Singapore.

 

Since our inception, AOHT has worked tirelessly to elevate the role of oral health therapists within the dental community. We believe in the critical role that Oral Health Therapists play in maintaining the oral and overall health of the population. Our goal is to ensure that these professionals are recognised for their contributions and are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their field.

What We Do

  • Advocacy: We represent the interests of Oral Health Therapists in discussions with policymakers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the profession is supported and advanced.
     

  • Education: We provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and conferences, to help our members stay current with the latest advancements in oral health care.
     

  • Awareness: We actively promote the role and importance of Oral Health Therapists to the public, enhancing the understanding and appreciation of our profession.
     

  • Networking: We offer a platform for Oral Health Therapists to connect, share knowledge, and collaborate on initiatives that promote the profession.
